This is part of what makes SRC a unique organization, unlike any training company in the commercial trucking and commercial driving industry.
Bob Landman - President
During his 28-year law enforcement career, Bob has contributed to Southern California’s highway safety in a number of ways.
As a retired officer with the Irvine Police Department he is recognized for his accomplishments within the commercial enforcement and hazardous materials fields.
His qualifications include:
- DOT certified inspector
- Hazardous Materials/First Responder state certified instructor
- Commercial Enforcement Unit, Irvine Police Department
- DUI Enforcement Officer, “MADD” award recipient – 1996 and 1997
- Irvine Police Department “Officer of the Year” award recipient – 1996
Roy Levario - General Manager
Roy Levario retired as a lieutenant from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after 31 years of service. As a police officer through the rank of Unit Commander, Roy gained experience and expertise in a wide range of law enforcement functions including basic patrol field operations , traffic enforcement, traffic collision investigation, criminal detective investigations, narcotics investigations, street gang criminal enforcement and investigation, emergency operations for large scale disasters and civil unrest, emergency command procedures for major emergency incidents, terrorist threat assessment, personnel supervision and management administrative operational procedures.
In addition Roy has decades of experience as an instructor at the local, state, national and international levels. Roy has been recognized for his expertise as an instructor for multiple law enforcement operations; in particular he has been recognized for his expertise regarding use of force application, significant use of force investigation and related personnel assessment, as well as supervisory and leadership disciplines. Roy holds a Bachelors degree from UCLA and a Master’s of Science degree from the California State University at Long Beach. Among his additional studies he is a graduate of the West Point Leadership Program and the Cornell University Leadership program. Roy has been with Safety Research Consultants as instructor for the past 12 years.
Jim Card - Account Manager
As Project Manager for SRC, Jim Card assists the SRC Management Team in daily operations, with focusing main concerns on the relationship that is established and maintained with each of our clients. Jim works one-on-one with the client to ensure they are receiving the specified training requested and their level of expectation of service from SRC. With his personal background, Jim is knowledgeable of the commercial trucking industry and continues to expand the education regarding any information relating to the training aspect of SRC, as well as the industry we strive to protect and increase production while decreasing liability.
Jenny Parlin - Office Manager
Jenny Parlin has worked for SRC since 2007. As Office Manager her duties include scheduling training classes, coordination with the client, assignment of the instructors, securing all travel arrangements and processing the invoices post-training. She also assists Bob with decision-making processes that allow SRC to better serve the client.
Jenny currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and a Masters of Education from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. Her background includes accounting/taxes, banking, as well as sales. Jenny currently lives in Dallas, TX with her daughter.
